We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a healthcare team in a full-time, permanent role.
Responsibilities Include
- Operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images in compliance with industry regulations.
- Interpreting physicians’ scanning instructions and preparing patients for MRI and MRA procedures.
- Performing quality assurance to maintain accreditation standards.
- Transmitting images to PACS and managing documentation.
- Entering orders, verifying billing accuracy, and maintaining equipment inventory.
- Troubleshooting MRI equipment and coordinating with service engineers.
- Providing patient care and effective communication with clinical staff.
- Participating in department meetings and adhering to safety and compliance protocols.
Qualifications And Skills
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI, with advanced MRI certification and Ohio licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Hospital-based MRI and MRA experience, including call rotations.
- Proficiency in image transmission, documentation, and billing verification.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and basic clerical skills.
- Ability to perform quality assurance and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
