Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards, accreditation requirements, and departmental policies
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, onboarding, and performance support
- Perform high‑quality MRI procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues in collaboration with service vendors and leadership
- Monitor image quality and ensure adherence to established protocols
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction goals
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and referring providers to optimize patient care
Job Summary
- Performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
Requirements
Education:
- Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two‑year radiology program.
License / Certification Requirements:
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non‑IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
