Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in radiology and cardiology settings. The position includes on-call duties and follows a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding to imaging requests as needed.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks.
- Active BLS certification.
- ARDMS certification and either ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN certification (one required).
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
- Active compact license or eligibility from non-Swedish Providence facilities separated for ≥3 months.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Experience working in radiology and cardiology imaging departments.
- Previous traveler experience in similar roles.
- On-call requirement of 2-3 shifts per month.
- Position may accept first-time travelers.
- Must comply with facility licensure and certification requirements.
- Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
