Job Summary
As an MRI Technologist, you will be part of a dedicated team that delivers high quality, value-driven imaging services across a dynamic clinical environment. Your role will focus on performing high quality MRI exams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the professional behavior and communication skills essential in a diagnostic imaging environment.
Responsibilities
Alternating 3x12 schedule: Monday-Wednesday & Wednesday-Friday 8:30am-9:00pm, with a monthly Saturday rotation 6:30am-2:30pm.
- Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
- Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
- Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
- Use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
- Guide patients through the exam process by kindly explaining steps and answering questions.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Safeguard patient property and sensitive health information.
- Safeguard medication in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain respect for company property, patient financial information, and professional boundaries.
- Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Qualifications
- Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement while remaining professional in all situations.
- Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, if applicable.
- BLS certification.
- Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Pay Range: $37.00 - $45.00 / Hourly
