Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients using advanced MRI equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Screen, position, and educate patients regarding MRI procedures.
- Administer IV contrast, including gadolinium, within scope of practice.
- Select appropriate imaging sequences, coils, and techniques.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Inspect images for quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Operate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
- Follow all MRI safety protocols and established clinical procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program or A.A.S. degree.
- Active New Jersey General Radiography License.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
