MRI TECHNOLOGIST

Position Overview

MRI Technologist - 1st Shift - 7 days off / 7 days on + shift differential Monday - Sunday 7 AM - 4:30 PM. $10,000 sign on bonus.

Job Description

Rome Health is seeking an MRI Technologist who will work with minimal supervision, maintaining appropriate productivity and utilizing critical thinking skills to overcome obstacles and maintain patient and departmental flow. They will demonstrate competence in all modality specific procedures, after an appropriate training period as determined by departmental leadership, including specialty and invasive procedures (ie: OR, Fluoro, image guided biopsies). Work effectively with patients of all ages and in all types of medical situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI duties utilizing 1.5T magnet in acute care settings to include OP, IP, ED and invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiography required; advanced MRI school a plus.
• Experience: Have worked in an acute care setting with a 1.5T magnet or higher preferred.
• Certification: NYSDOH license to practice Radiography, & ARRT (R) required.
