We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging under the supervision of a physician.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Executing MRI safety protocols and maintaining magnet safety for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Selecting appropriate scanning parameters in coordination with radiologists to ensure optimal results.
  • Accurately identifying patients, preparing them for exams, and performing imaging according to department standards.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proper anatomical positioning.
  • Administering contrast and medications as directed by supervising clinicians.
  • Maintaining competency across all clinical and technical functions, adhering to policies and documentation procedures.

Qualifications Include

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, or ARRT(R) with at least one year of MRI experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Skills And Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in MRI or Advanced Radiologic Science.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, communication skills, and the ability to operate complex equipment accurately.
  • Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and navigate busy clinical environments.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patient transport and equipment management.
