We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging under the supervision of a physician.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Executing MRI safety protocols and maintaining magnet safety for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Selecting appropriate scanning parameters in coordination with radiologists to ensure optimal results.
- Accurately identifying patients, preparing them for exams, and performing imaging according to department standards.
- Demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proper anatomical positioning.
- Administering contrast and medications as directed by supervising clinicians.
- Maintaining competency across all clinical and technical functions, adhering to policies and documentation procedures.
Qualifications Include
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, or ARRT(R) with at least one year of MRI experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- IV competency within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Skills And Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in MRI or Advanced Radiologic Science.
- Excellent manual dexterity, communication skills, and the ability to operate complex equipment accurately.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and navigate busy clinical environments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patient transport and equipment management.
