Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. This role requires expertise in MRI scanning with the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be involved in patient preparation, scanning, and image evaluation using GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners.

Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Prepare and position patients for MRI of various body parts
• Screen patients and personnel for ferrous metal implants/objects
• Select and record appropriate pulse sequences for scan procedures
• Evaluate results for quality and completeness, manipulating images for evaluation
• Send images to PACS system and verify exams in a timely manner
• Respond to patient needs and inform patients of procedures without causing anxiety
• Start IV lines for contrast and monitor patients for reactions
• Maintain accurate records and assist in clinical evaluation of students
• Participate in continued educational activities

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• Current ARRT certification
• BLS-AHA certification
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
• Experience with GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners
