Role Overview
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI procedures in a patient-centered, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include independently executing MRI exams using prescribed techniques, maintaining proficiency with imaging equipment, and supporting departmental operations. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and deliver compassionate care while adhering to safety standards and documentation requirements.
Key Duties
- Perform MRI procedures following established protocols
- Prepare and position patients to optimize comfort and safety
- Support operational workflows and collaborate with healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safety and regulatory standards
- Ensure safety for patients, coworkers, and oneself during procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- 1–3 years of MRI or imaging experience preferred
- ARRT or ARMIT registration preferred
- Current CPR certification required
- CMRT certification within 12 months of hire required
- Knowledge of advanced MRI procedures and techniques essential
