MRI Technologist

Key responsibilities of the MRI Technologist include:
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
- Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
- Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance and resolve issues related to image processing
- Participate in ongoing education and technical advances within your scope of licensure
- Provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Work other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
Requirements of the MRI Technologist include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT
- BLS certification required
