MRI Technologist – 37 hours per week. $10,000 sign-on bonus. Emerson Hospital, Concord, MA.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the MRI Section Leader, the MRI Technologist performs a variety of MRI imaging procedures and is responsible for patient care and safety in the MRI environment. Interacts with the radiologist and patients to ensure successful accomplishment of MRI imaging and participates in QA activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in an Allied Health Field.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Two years as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
• Current registration as an imaging technologist required.
• Must obtain MRI registration through ARRT within one year of hire as an MRI technologist.
• BLS healthcare provider required.
• Proficient IV skills.
• Proficient in MR safety.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
