MRI Technologist - Pediatric
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with some flexibility; holidays per unit needs.

Requirements: - Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology - Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred - Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist - BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - NYS Rad Tech License (must obtain prior to start if not currently held) - Six (6) months of pediatric experience - Experience with Siemens scanners - Level 1 Trauma Center experience
Roles & Responsibilities: - Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility - Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging - Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable - Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information - Provide age-appropriate care and ensure proper patient screening for scanning - Adhere to all MRI safety policies and guidelines
