This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) working varied 8-hour shifts, primarily day shift; however, flexibility to cover PM and overnight shifts may be required. The role requires scheduling flexibility throughout the week, including weekends, holidays, and participation in the on-call rotation with staff. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or CRT
* Completion of a venipuncture class. Certificate must be provided at the time of application; 10 successful sticks must be completed within 30 days of hire.
* Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
* Completion of a formal training/educational program from an approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job training program, combined with current licensure/certification
Preferred Qualifications:

* Highly preferred: 5-10 years of experience as an MRI Technician

* Cardiac MRI experience

* Experience working with multiple pacemaker programmers

* Experience performing MRI scans on patients with MRI Conditional pacemakers

* Experience scanning patients with other implanted electronic devices, including neurostimulators

* Experience reviewing implanted device documentation and identifying MRI conditions and requirements

* Experience appropriately clearing implanted devices for MRI scheduling in accordance with established protocols

* Strong background in MRI safety; MRSO certification preferred

* Experience working with Siemens and Tesla MRI scanners
