MRI/CT TechJCMG's Radiology department is looking for an experienced MRI/CT Tech. This is a PRN position to assist within the department as needed. Candidate must be flexible in their responsibilities and be willing to work in a fast-paced department.
Successful candidate must be certified in either MR and/or CT, and registered with the ARRT. Competitive salary based on experience. No on-call and no weekend hours.Job Specific Competencies:Performs Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures and/or MRI procedures as indicated in the procedure manual.Performs other related imaging procedures producing images for interpretation by a physician.Demonstrates knowledge and ability to assist with checking patient into the Radiology Department for testing.Maintains a safe environment.Graduate of the committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited radiography program, JCERT accredited or other national accreditation agencies acceptable to the ARRTCertification/License:AART certification in MR or OJT training to become registered with the ARRTRegistered Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist or OJT trainingMust become registered with the ARRT within 1 year of training start dateMaintains credentials in good standingBLS requiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in order to perform MR and/or CT testingKnowledge of imaging equipmentGood verbal skillsBasic computer skillsAbility to use computerized information systemsSkill in establishing and maintaining good working relationshipsWork is normally performed in an interior/office or workshop environment.
