A nationally recognized, not-for-profit health system in Columbus, Ohio is hiring vascular & general neurologists to service a growing need in Central Ohio. This is an opportunity to join one of the largest comprehensive Neuroscience programs in the country, provide innovative healthcare and deliver world-class patient care.


Columbus Vascular Highlights:

  1. Join a team of vascular neurologists to cover one of the largest stroke programs in the region.
  2. Coverage through a traditional inpatient stroke service and outpatient stroke clinic supported by trained APPs, and a large Telemedicine stroke network.
  3. Comprehensive Stroke Center with 1,059 beds (200 thrombectomy cases/year), four Primary Stroke Centers, and the region's mobile stroke unit.
  4. Research opportunities through Research Institute, if desired (involved with many leading clinical trials such as DAWN, SWIFT Prime, ESCAPE-NA1, etc.).
  5. Epic for EMR.
  6. $25k training stipend available for current trainees.

Southeast Columbus General Neurology Highlights:

  1. Sub-specialty training is welcome and can be explored!
  2. IP/OP Position for General Neurologist.
  3. Sub-specialty interest encouraged, especially in clinical neurophysiology, headache, and neuromuscular.
  4. 1:8 call.
  5. Office staff includes 1 assigned MA who will travel with the physician, 2 inpatient NPs, and 1 shared RN for triage.
  6. Resident/fellowship stipend available for those who qualify.
  7. $25-50k Fellowship/Residency Stipend.
  8. $80k student loan forgiveness or $48k retention bonus.

Northwest Columbus General Neurology Highlights:

  1. Sub-specialty training is welcome and can be explored!
  2. Average weekly outpatient schedule: Monday to Friday with ½ day admin time.
  3. Provide inpatient consulting coverage, on rotation with other providers, at the hospital.
  4. System-wide support from specialists covering all neurological conditions, including MS, stroke, movement disorders, and cognitive.
  5. Dedicated Medical Assistant.

  2. Primary Stroke Center.
  3. 50 miles north of Columbus.
  4. General neurology opportunity.
  5. Ability to read EEG or EMG welcome but not required.
  6. Non-burdensome call schedule.
  7. No stroke call.
  8. Substantial growth opportunity within the central Ohio market.
  9. Primarily outpatient position, with some inpatient responsibility.
  10. Competitive compensation package including sign-on bonus, relocation expenses, and student loan repayment.
