Job Title
The job duties include:
Operating a passenger bus with an approximate gross vehicle weight up to 30,000 pounds and with passenger capacity ranging from 44 to 72 students.
Providing safe and efficient transportation for students to and from school.
Assisting in the loading and unloading of children with special needs and their equipment, as well as assisting these students in getting to and from their classrooms.
Responsible for the general cleaning of the bus to include cleaning inside of the bus daily and washing exterior of the bus once a month.
Reporting all disciplinary action to the school principal and the DOA.
Conducting maintenance and safety checks on the school bus prior to beginning all routes.
Recording school bus route and schedule on the trip ticket.
Reporting problems to the designated government representative (DOR).
