Motor Alignment Tech Temp To Hire1st shift: 4/10 shifts starting at 6am, ending at 4:30pm; with a 30-minute lunch and 2 breaks (morning and afternoon) $24.00 - $29.00/hrResponsibilities/Job Duties:Select and verify correct motor for job to PID.Mount, align and mark motor for mounting to motor bed.Drill mounting holes for motor.Use laser alignment system for shaft-to-shaft alignment.Use of roto chocks or shims as necessary for each job to achieve factory tolerance.Report any issues to the supervisor on duty.Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements:Experience operating overhead crane and mag drill.Experience using roto chocks and shims.Ability to understand and effectively use laser alignment system.Follow health and safety standards.Able to work as part of a team.Good communication skills.Basic math skills.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.At least two years of related experience required.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.Must be able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
