Registered Nurse - Postpartum (Contract Position)
This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours.
Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, rotating weekends. No call required.
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our postpartum unit for a 13-week contract. The RN will provide exceptional care to postpartum patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions following childbirth.
- Administer medications as prescribed, including insulin and magnesium drips.
- Conduct non-stress tests and manage hyperemesis.
- Provide education and support to new mothers regarding postpartum care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN License.
- BLS Certification is required.
- Previous experience in labor and delivery or antepartum/postpartum care is preferred.
