This position is formally trained to provide customer service back up support when call volumes are high. During those peak times, this position will also respond to customer's inquiries or complaints regarding Loan Servicing products or services.Primary ResponsibilitiesReceives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as neededReviews loan documentation for accuracyCompletes validation of loan documentation, reports, and/or systemsDocuments missing, incorrect, or incomplete documents and/or dataPerforms data entry and/or enters loans into the appropriate systemsResolves escalated or complex customer or associate inquiries as necessary and communicates when applicablePrepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects specialized and/or complex documents/reportsResearches and resolves loan related issues which may include missing payments, disputed accounts history requests and general loan related questionsWorks under limited supervision following established guidelines and proceduresDetermines best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policiesCoordinates problem resolution with appropriate departmentsInforms customers of standard procedures or resolution of problemProvides guidance to less experienced team membersEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practicesThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDFour (4) years of banking or related work experienceApplicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the positionPreferencesKnowledgeable of loan operations activitiesSkills and CompetenciesAbility to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidanceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentData entry and typing skillsExcellent customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong time managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsOverview: Responsible for credit reporting, credit reporting disputes, year end tax form preparation and production, detailed account research, and various maintenance tasks.Strongly Preferred:Experience with HELOCS & HELOANSSchedule & Work Arrangement:Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM.Work Environment: Full-time on-site for the first six months to support training and development.
Following this period, associates may be eligible for a hybrid schedule of three in-office days and two remote days, subject to performance and business requirements.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
