Working remotely, the full-time Mortgage Loan Processor will manage the processing of mortgage loans by reviewing applications for accuracy, obtaining necessary documentation, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. Key responsibilities Calculates principal, interest, and closing costs while notifying borrowers accordingly Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing applications and obtaining additional information as needed Identifies and resolves application and documentation issues by communicating with underwriters and supervisors Required qualifications Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor, or loan officer Knowledge of lending terminology and experience communicating with borrowers Experience processing conventional, FHA, and VA loans Proven customer service ability Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Encompass software
