Mortgage Loan ProcessorThe Merrimack is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Loan Processor to join our Residential Lending team and support borrowers through an important financial milestone.In this role, you will manage mortgage loan files from application through closing, helping ensure documentation is accurate, complete and aligned with applicable requirements.You will work closely with borrowers, Mortgage Loan Officers, underwriters and vendors to keep the loan process moving efficiently while providing timely communication and a positive lending experience.In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both personally and professionally.

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, professional development opportunities, and the chance to be part of a supportive team that values the work you do every day.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with borrowers, lenders and third-party vendors to support timely loan file completionReview mortgage loan applications for accuracy, completeness and required documentationPrepare and send initial disclosures and re-disclosures within required timeframesOrder appraisals, flood certifications, legal documentation and employment verifications as neededReview purchase and sales agreements, earnest money deposits, credit reports, income documentation and funds for closingMonitor the loan pipeline daily and provide timely status updates to Mortgage Loan OfficersSubmit files to underwriting, request additional documentation and prepare files for closing once clearedMaintain accurate information in the loan operating system and support compliance with applicable regulationsWhat We're Looking ForSix to twelve months of mortgage loan processing experience, preferably in a banking environmentKnowledge of banking operations, loan processing and related regulations preferredWorking knowledge of secondary market mortgage productsStrong attention to detail, organization and follow-throughExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build effective relationships with internal teams, borrowers and external partnersSolid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAt The Merrimack, we believe in building genuine partnerships and delivering exceptional service through a culture of teamwork, integrity and excellence.
