Mortgage Loan Processor In-HouseJoin our Mortgage Operations team as a Mortgage Loan Processor In-House. In this role, you will manage residential mortgage files from processing through closing while partnering with Mortgage Originators to keep each loan accurate, complete, and moving forward.This position is a strong fit for an experienced mortgage professional who understands loan documentation, communicates clearly, and can manage a busy pipeline without losing attention to detail. You will process conventional fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, and construction loans while helping ensure each file meets company and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze credit reports, income, assets, and borrower documentation.Review mortgage files and prepare accurate loan presentations.Process conventional fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, and construction loans.Manage multiple mortgage files through processing and closing.Partner with Mortgage Originators to obtain information, resolve file issues, and keep loans moving forward.Document loan files, including comments and withdrawn or denied files.Review files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and procedures.Follow applicable regulations, company policies, procedures, and internal controls.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Experience in banking, mortgage lending, mortgage processing, or a related field preferred.Knowledge of mortgage processing, loan origination, or residential lending preferred.Experience reviewing credit reports, income, assets, and mortgage documentation.Experience processing conventional fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, or construction loans preferred.Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines in a production-focused environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and sound judgment.First International Bank and Trust is a family-owned full-service Community Bank with locations in ND, MN, SD, and AZ.We show our employees we care by providing competitive benefits and training and growth opportunities.
