JCW Search is partnering with a well-established regional bank in Connecticut to hire a Mortgage Loan Processor for its residential lending team. The bank has strong community roots and a growing mortgage platform.
What you'll do:
- Manage a pipeline of residential mortgage loans from application through closing
- Collect, review, and verify borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, appraisal, title)
- Prepare complete files for underwriting and clear conditions efficiently
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, closers, and borrowers to keep loans on schedule
- Ensure files meet agency, investor, and regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA)
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of residential mortgage processing experience, ideally in a bank or credit union setting
- Working knowledge of conventional, jumbo, and portfolio loan products
- Familiarity with LOS platforms (e.g., Encompass) and DU/LP
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple files with tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a service-first mindset
