This role can be based anywhere in the state, with a preference for candidates who live within 30 miles of a First Service Bank branch. This allows you to stay connected to our community-driven culture while enjoying statewide flexibility.We're looking for a Mortgage Loan Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves staying organized, and enjoys helping customers through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.This is a customer-facing role, so you'll work directly with borrowers throughout the mortgage process—answering questions, gathering documentation, providing updates, and helping create a smooth, positive experience from application through closing.

You'll also work closely with our mortgage lenders to keep loans moving forward accurately and efficiently.If you're detail-oriented, customer-focused, comfortable building relationships, and ready to support a high-performing mortgage team, this role is for you.What You Will Do:Support Loan Officers with new loan applications and file setupCollect and review borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.)Communicate with borrowers to request missing informationEnter and update data in the Loan Origination System (LOS)Monitor loan files to ensure completeness before processingCoordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, and appraisersTrack deadlines and maintain accurate documentationProvide exceptional service from application through closingWhat We're Looking For:1+ year of experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to handle confidential information with integrityPreferred but Not Required:Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and RD loansWhy Join Us?
