What if each play experience could generate measurable gains in child development?

Alpha's approach to education bears little resemblance to conventional schooling. Our PreK offering integrates play-driven curriculum frameworks with live developmental metrics — no prescriptive teaching scripts, no procedural compliance forms. You will architect dynamic learning experiences spanning all readiness domains, mentor a team of Guides to execute them with both accuracy and enthusiasm, and monitor quantifiable milestone achievement for each child in your program.

This position requires active classroom presence. Approximately one-third of your time will be classroom-based — demonstrating facilitation methods, observing instruction, and conducting alignment sessions. The remaining hours focus on curriculum architecture, targeted Guide coaching with concrete performance metrics, and delivering data-informed family communication. Your impact will be visible: four-year-olds reaching developmental markers ahead of schedule, Guides advancing their performance ratings consistently, and families becoming program champions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitate individual and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating instructional methods and recognizing quantifiable progress
  • Architect and lead play-based instructional sequences balancing social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, exemplifying excellence for your team
  • Assess and align Guide documentation on a weekly basis for standards consistency and clarity, conducting calibration meetings to maintain milestone tracking transparency
  • Develop family communications and facilitate team briefings that synchronize objectives and uphold collective standards supporting campus-wide PreK preparedness targets

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Executing prescriptive lesson plans or compliance-focused protocols — you'll create responsive, play-based learning frameworks informed by live developmental data
  • Delivering a predetermined curriculum developed externally — you control quarterly and weekly instructional design
  • Operating independently without structured feedback mechanisms — coaching dialogues and calibration reviews are embedded throughout each week
  • Supervising K-12 learners using application-based instruction — this position is entirely focused on early childhood, hands-on classroom engagement
