1. Travel Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of travel experience.

2. Mental Health Experience: We require at least 2 years of direct experience working in mental health settings, such as state hospitals or facilities specifically dedicated to mental health care.

3. Geriatric Experience: If the candidate's background is solely in geriatric care within nursing homes or long-term care facilities, we expect them to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field.

4. Emergency or Urgent Care Experience: For those candidates coming from a medical urgent care or emergency room background, we are looking for at least 4 years of relevant experience on their resumes.

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide assistance and support to clients in a therapeutic environment. This position performs skilled nursing duties, assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations for adult clients in the facility. Responsibilities include supervising and accounting for patients; providing care as directed by medical and nursing providers; observing, reporting, and documenting information concerning patient's physical, emotional, and behavior status; maintaining and protecting patient rights; recognizing and appropriately responding using therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques with patients.

Additionally, shift differential may be available, and one meal is provided per shift.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity:

  • Skill in the use of the basic instruments and equipment of the nursing profession.
  • Knowledge of current psychopharmacology.

  • Ability to proficiently utilize technology related to patient care information systems.
  • Meet minimum qualifications:
    • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
    • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Montana.
    • Preferred experience providing care to individuals with developmental, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders.
