Job TitleProvide patient monitoring support and direct patient care.Maintain records and document of cardiac rhythm for nursing staff.Recognize and respond to abnormal patient condition.Deliver quality patient care services in timely and accurate mannerPerforms continual surveillance of multiple monitors.Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.Tests equipment for proper working order.Reports equipment problems to supervisor.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAssociate's degree preferred. Previous experience in hospital setting.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
