Supporting the development of customer solutions, the full-time MongoDB Database Administrator will manage MongoDB replication and sharding, implement performance improvements, and optimize backup and recovery processes in a remote environment. Key responsibilities: Build and configure MongoDB replication and sharding Implement appropriate indexes for performance improvement and fine-tune configurations Create and publish database health checks to monitor performance metrics and identify issues Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Experience with MongoDB, including manual builds and management, and understanding of Ops Manager automation Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MySQL Development experience with modern scripting or automation languages (e.g., Ansible, Python) Strong collaboration skills and experience working across multiple teams
