If your skills and experience are a good match for this role, please apply today.Education Requirements:High school diploma or GED requiredAbility to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards in EnglishWillingness to complete hands-on training for molding machine operation, inspection procedures, and workplace safetyExperience Requirements:Manufacturing, production, machine operator, or injection molding experience preferred but not requiredExperience working with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plusAbility to perform quality inspections and maintain accurate production recordsComfortable operating production equipment and troubleshooting minor machine issues after trainingPreferred Qualifications:Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand toolsAttention to detail with a focus on safety and qualityAbility to identify and resolve common machine error messagesBasic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control proceduresStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a teamExperience in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or production environments preferredPhysical Capabilities:Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shiftAbility to safely handle raw materials and finished productsManual dexterity to operate machinery, measuring devices, and hand toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailJob Duties:Operate and monitor injection molding machines and support equipment to maintain production goalsLearn machine operation procedures, identify common machine faults, and restart production after resolving issuesPerform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality specificationsAssist Molding Technicians and Set-Up Personnel with production activities as neededComplete production records, inspection documentation, and other required paperwork accuratelyChange reels, handle raw materials and finished goods, and support material movement throughout the departmentGrind runners and blend virgin material with regrind material as requiredInspect machine guards and safety devices to ensure proper operationFollow all workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and operating instructionsMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area through routine housekeeping activitiesAbout Us:At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
