Molding Operator (Weekend Days)

If you're passionate about technology, sustainability, and global collaboration — you'll feel right at home with us.Primary Job Responsibilities• Inspect parts visually for defects• Perform visual and gauge inspections to specification• Package and label products as directed in WI• Trim all parts that need to be trimmed• Keep cell or line assigned to him/her clean at all times to ensure the safety of the plant• Identify, dispose, and label scrap• Report all problems with the product to technicians or supervisor• Operate equipment used in the Molding area such as the band saw and pneumatic cutter• If the machine stops working notify technician• Follow all safety procedures and report any safety problems to the supervisor immediately, as well as using 5s guidelines established for the department• Perform all other duties as assigned• Involvement in our continuous improvement and safety initiatives• Communicate when uncertain of parts that may need to be scraped by contacting a supervisor or Q A technician to inspect the product• Supports the established Quality policy• Fulfills the role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instruction• Live our Core ValuesCore ValuesRespect for peopleQuality mindedCaring, Learning, & PerformanceCore and Critical CompetenciesSafetyInterpersonal skillsCustomer focusTeam orientedQualityEthicsTechnical SkillsRepetitive hand motion with various tools and equipmentMechanical aptitudePhysical RequirementsWalking – frequently up to 12 hrsStanding – up to 12 hrsClimbing – occasionallySquatting/Stooping – occasionallyReaching – occasionallyLifting - up to 40# frequentlyLifting – 50# to 75# with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)Safety RequirementsThe employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.Must wear proper PPEContact person: Helen Corona Human Resources Assistant
