Molding OperatorDuration: 06 months temp/contractLocation: Anniston AL 36207Shift: 5 am – 3:30 pmPay Rate: $18.00 /hr. on W2***EDUCATION: MUST HAVE MINIMUM HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED***WORKING HOURS: 5:00am- 3:30pm M-F Friday is overtime (10hrs)Primary ResponsibilitiesTo prep molds accordingly and to send to gravity feed for concrete fillingTo operate hydraulic jacks to meet required specificationsIdentify any non-conforming productsAbility to identify molds for daily productionLayout molds in order according to color using daily production sheet as referenceMake sure molds are clean and free from debris before oilingCheck and repair all mold seams, as neededOil moldsMake sure the proper parts are in moldsAssist in helping the crane operator to cap moldsBolt down molds from the center outwardsReplace nuts and bolts as necessaryPrestress internal wires using the necessary hydraulic jackMake sure all safety caps are bolted securely to moldLook inside of mold after prestress to ensure wires are straightPut molds on transversal and send to gravity feedSecondary ResponsibilitiesMake sure all parts are available for molds before daily productionWax necessary partsLay out internal parts, as neededClean safety caps and ringsNotify the supervisor of parts that are not availableMake necessary adjustments to the area for productionAble to work closely with supervisors and co-workersKeep work areas clean and orderlyWork in a safe and timely mannerExperience/Training RequirementsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, blueprints and drawings required to carry out his/her jobMust be able to write simple correspondenceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers and decimals. Use of algebra to develop proportionsAbility to read a tape measure in inches and millimetersAbility to understand the difference in concrete mixes, the difference between round, square, hex, and octagonalAbility to learn the size and lengths of moldsAble to identify all parts used in his/her and helpers' areaKnow hand signals such as: a) Up ?

Down b) Left ? Right c) In? OutHave basic knowledge in: a) Mold set-up b) Demolding c) Prestress helper1.

Operator shall consider him/herself as part of a team working towards the same goal and consider your fellow workers as his/her customers2. Must be able to work efficiently and effectively without supervision. Report difficulties as they develop.

Provide suggestions or solutions3. Must be willing to do other tasks as assigned by their supervisor4. Must remember safety comes first
