Molding Cell OperatorsSURESTAFF is immediately hiring Molding Cell Operators for a plastic fabrication company in Batavia, IL. The Molding Cell Operator will manage the entire molding process, including equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $16-$16.75/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts:1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm2nd shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pmResponsibilities of the Molding Cell Operator:Work in a group of three or more employees at one or more machines to make a family of parts.Set-up and operate injection molding machines, vision systems, down-stream equipment, and material feed equipment.Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.Safe, accurate, and timely executive of tooling changeovers per work instructions.Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment.Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.Required Qualifications of the Molding Cell Operator:Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.Previous plastics molding experience a plus.Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.About SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
