Mold TechnicianDonatelle - New Brighton - New Brighton, MN 55112OverviewSalary Range $22.00 - $31.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionOverview of Responsibilities:Identify problems regarding machine functions and report all malfunctions to Process Engineers and Molding SupervisorAssist Process Engineers as necessaryWork with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure all quality levels are acceptableAssist Material Handler as necessaryClean and organize molding machines and work areasFill out press monitor logs at required intervalsRecord scrap through appropriate systemsRecord scrap through real time reportingDocument all process changes following proper proceduresComplete daily paperwork as requiredPrint work orders for the upcoming ordersTechnical Support ResponsibilitiesInstall prepared molds into pressRemove molds from the press at the end of production/ sample runsFill out press monitor logs at required intervalsChange orders and lot numbers in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system within or during a continuous runSet all press settings prior to running moldsStart up presses for production runs per daily schedulingTrouble shoot automation and auxiliary equipmentInstall water lines, air lines, core pull systems, hot runner systems, or any other auxiliary equipmentGeneral ResponsibilitiesWork on various shifts or weekends when necessary to meet customer requirement or fulfill staffing requirementsResponsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual PropertyFollow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manualPerform other projects and duties as assignedQualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Education/Experience:Two year technical degree and two years processing experience -OR- 3-5 years processing experience with six months experience as press operator with mold set-up trainingOther Qualifications and Desired Skills:Must have experience or demonstrate ability to perform all tasks required for the Mold Technician Trainee positionThorough knowledge of thermoplastic materials and injection molding processes and machinesPhysical Requirements:Lifting up to 70 poundsBending and walking20/20 Vision with or without corrective lensesBenefits and PayBenefits:Medical insuranceDental insuranceBasic and voluntary life insuranceShort and long-term disability insurance401(k) retirement options with a company matchPaid time offPaid holidaysAnnual incentive bonus opportunitiesFlexible spending accountsLegal/ID Shield protection planEducational assistance and tuition reimbursement programsPay:Salary range: $22 to $31 per hourPlus shift differential when applicable
