Model Based Systems EngineerKavaliro is seeking a skilled and experienced Model Based Systems Engineer with hands-on experience across the Systems Engineering & Integration lifecycle—including architecture, requirements, CONOPS, integration, testing, and transition. This role supports enterprise transformation initiatives across mission systems and projects, helping to modernize architecture and advance mission capabilities.Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and head working groups in the development, planning, and execution of Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) programs, projects, and activitiesInterface with stakeholders, identify and understand program goals and needs, and develop best-value solutionsDevelop systems integration solutions and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents, working with commercial MBSE tools. Develop and deliver MBSE artifacts needed to support development of SysML/UML models of CONOPS and Requirements, Architecture models, and simulation casesSupport the creation of system and subsystem architecture viewsQualifications:Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with CI PolygraphBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field with industry experienceExperience with the MBSE toolchain including UML/SysML modeling tools like Cameo.Location:Chantilly, VAThis position is onsite and there is no remote availabilityClearance Requirement:Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a CI PolygraphApplicant MUST hold a permanent U.S.
