(ATS) is seeking a highly motivated Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the development of advanced hypersonic wind tunnel capabilities and complex aerospace systems in Huntsville, Alabama.This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and technical leaders supporting challenging national defense and aerospace programs.

If you enjoy solving complex engineering problems, collaborating across disciplines, and building scalable MBSE solutions that directly support critical mission objectives, ATS wants to hear from you.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain MBSE models for complex system-of-systems architectures using Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDrawSupport advanced hypersonic wind tunnel development efforts and related engineering activitiesCreate modeling standards, guidebooks, and best practices to support collaborative multi-user model developmentPartner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture relationshipsSupport systems engineering lifecycle activities including technical reviews, requirements management, and milestone executionTrain and mentor engineering team members in MBSE methodologies and model administrationCommunicate technical and program status through MBSE artifacts and model-driven insightsContribute to innovative engineering solutions supporting cutting-edge aerospace and defense initiativesRequired QualificationsWe're Looking for Candidates With:Demonstrated experience developing MBSE models using Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw for complex system-of-systems designsExperience developing MBSE modeling standards or guidebooks supporting multi-user environmentsExperience applying systems engineering processes across the engineering lifecycleBachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field3–5 years of relevant experience supporting cross-disciplinary engineering teamsExperience supporting United States Department of Defense or NASA engineering lifecycle activities and milestone reviewsExperience leading, mentoring, or training team members in MBSE model development and administrationStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsSelf-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environmentPreferred QualificationsAerospace, mechanical, or other physics-based engineering experienceFamiliarity with engineering and requirements management tools such as IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next (DNG), Jama Connect, and JiraExperience supporting hypersonic systems, wind tunnel development, or advanced R&D programsFamiliarity with model-based design integration across multidisciplinary engineering teamsWhy Join ATS?Work on impactful aerospace and defense programsCollaborate with experienced engineers and technical expertsContribute to innovative hypersonic and advanced engineering initiativesGrow your technical expertise in a highly collaborative environmentBe part of a company that values technical excellence, teamwork, and professional development
