Job Overview / Technician's Responsibilities: We are seeking a motivated Ultrasound Technician to join our mobile imaging team in the Rochester, NY area. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, travel locally, and provide high-quality patient care in a non-hospital setting.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Having knowledge and experience with general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound is considered a plus. Willingness to cross-train in other areas is encouraged.
- The Ultrasound Technician must be registered or eligible to sit for the registry of one or more modalities.
- Comfortable with local travel and working independently
- Ability to lift and transport portable imaging equipment, including navigating stairs as needed
- Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and patient care skills
