Position Overview
Happy Feet Podiatry is seeking an Illinois-licensed Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to join our growing mobile podiatry team.
This opportunity allows podiatrists to provide comprehensive foot and lower extremity care directly to patients in assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and private residences. Our mobile care model helps improve access to care for patients who may otherwise face barriers to receiving essential podiatric services.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically confident, and enjoys working independently while building meaningful relationships with patients, caregivers, and community partners.

Practice at the top of your license while delivering comprehensive podiatric care in a flexible mobile environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive podiatric care in mobile and community-based settings
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and lower extremity conditions
- Perform routine and preventive podiatric services
- Assess and manage high-risk foot conditions
- Participate in wound care management and follow-up
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and facility staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, orders, and billing
- Help expand access to podiatric care throughout Iowa
Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
- Active Illinois podiatry license in good standing
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in a mobile care environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned service areas
Preferred
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, wound care, or community-based healthcare settings
- Experience working with medically complex or geriatric patient populations
