PET/CT Technologist

Perform routine and advanced PET/CT procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes with minimal supervision. Screen patients for precautions or contraindications prior to procedures. Prepare and explain procedures to patients, position them correctly, and provide support throughout the process. Adjust scan parameters and utilize dose-reduction techniques as appropriate to ensure patient safety and image quality. Stay self-motivated to continually increase knowledge of PET/CT technology, disease processes, and new procedures. Complete additional assigned duties as needed (approximately 5% of the role). Adhere to established standards and protocols to ensure quality patient care and accurate results.
