Job Title: Mobile InStore Engineer
Location: San Bruno, CA
Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Client is actually a group of retail businesses spread all over the world including Sam's Club, Asda (UK), Massmart, Client International, Seiyu
Client is a software development shop responsible for tools, platforms and applications for new products in all Client businesses. These include platform tools, data analytics & machine learning, search engines, mobile applications and physical retail tools.
Client Mobile builds mobile applications and backend services for all Client businesses.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or 5 years’ experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in functional languages, such as clojure, lisp, scheme, scala. Strong server-side programming experience. Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably JavaScript / node.js. Experience in designing clean REST APIs. Experience in building fault-tolerant, high performance distributed systems. Well-factored codebases with thorough test coverage. Comfort with GIT.
