The Mobile Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
- Perform predictive, planned, preventative and routine maintenance.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards and practices.
- Determine and/or assist with analyzing and resolving work problems and achieving work goals.
- Maintain time and production records and customer service requests using a variety of computer/technology tools.
- Team player with the desire to foster teamwork to help create a positive working environment.
- Perform and/or complete all client service requests accurately and expediently.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established for the building, including safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Actively participate in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs.
- Perform all work using the proper safety equipment and in a safe manner.
Physical Work Requirements & Conditions
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Working from heights.
- Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent; a combination of four years of experience as a licensed HVAC journeyman or completing a formal program providing equivalent experience.
- EPA 608 certification.
- Trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC preferred.
- Minimum of 4‑6 years of relevant work experience; industry general building preventative & corrective maintenance.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS).
- Strong Customer Service & Interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills required.
