Pay Rates:
- Mid - 50-60/hr – 3-5 years of experience
- Senior 60-70/hr- 5+ years of experience
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of mobile application development experience
- Experience building and deploying consumer-facing mobile applications
- Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with mobile deployment strategies for iOS and/or Android
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience working within Agile development teams
- Strong understanding of application architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience writing unit tests and maintaining code quality standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Plusses:
- Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code exposure
- Banking, fintech, lending, or financial services experience
- CI/CD pipeline experience for mobile applications
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Experience with platform modernization initiatives
Day-to-Day:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications using React Native
- Build scalable, reusable mobile components and application frameworks
- Integrate mobile applications with enterprise APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers to deliver new features
- Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, code reviews, and testing activities
- Optimize mobile application performance, reliability, and user experience
- Implement automated testing and maintain high code quality standards
- Support application deployments and production issue resolution
- Evaluate and prototype new technologies to improve development efficiency
- Contribute to mobile architecture decisions and engineering best practices
- Mentor other developers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
