Serving the Columbus transportation industry hub since 1985, we operate as a full-service commercial truck dealership and body shop.Assist with on-site preventive maintenance and repairs of diesel-powered commercial trucks.
You will be tasked with traveling to vendors or customer locations to diagnose and make mechanical, hydraulic, engine, chassis, and electrical repairs on diesel powered commercial trucks.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and inspectionsTroubleshoot issues with diesel enginesTroubleshoot issues with chassis componentsDetermine parts & tools necessary for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairsComplete service paperwork while maintaining efficiencyMaintain a safe clean work area, to include company vehicleRepresent Fyda Freightliner in a Customer facing rolePerform preventative maintenance and inspections in shop and on site mobileQualificationsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED certificateMust maintain an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that meets the Company's eligibility.Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening. (Fyda Freightliner follows the National DOT guidelines and tests for marijuana.)2 Years verifiable experience with H.D.
