Mobile Applications Developer IIThe Mobile Applications Developer II is responsible for the development and maintenance of our suite of mobile applications. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality mobile applications. The candidate should have experience in developing applications for iOS and/or Android platforms. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team.This position will serve Rheem North America, located in Roswell, GA (Hybrid). This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mobile applications for the Android and/or iOS platformsDevelop and improve software architecture, testing strategies, developer tooling, and UX for our mobile applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWork with product managers and QA to support validation activitiesEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsParticipate in code reviews to maintain code qualityContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyParticipate in the development of technical documentationWorks under some supervision of department leadership with independence on projects in scope.Other duties as assignedQualificationsAn innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively3+ years of experience in mobile apps developmentBachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and experienceProficient in Swift and/or KotlinExperience with modern mobile app development frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose)Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and ScrumExperience with version control systems such as GitExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong critical thinking skills, and a keen attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team (e.g., product managers, engineers, business teams) and external subject matter expertsDemonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environmentExperience with LLM coding agentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Kotlin Multiplatform or other cross-platform mobile app development frameworksExperience with cloud technologies and services such as AWS, Azure, or FirebaseExperience with IOT and smart connected products (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi APIs)Experience with mobile app security best practicesExperience with mobile app analyticsExperience with testing frameworksHVAC / Water Heating industry experienceAs a leader at Rheem, how you achieve results is as important as the results you achieve.
