About The Role
We are seeking a motivated Mobile App Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team in Denver, focused on building and improving Gesture's consumer mobile experience. This internship offers hands-on experience developing features for a live, actively used mobile app.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship new features for Gesture's iOS and/or Android app
- Fix bugs and improve performance across the mobile experience
- Work with our design team to implement polished, intuitive UI
- Integrate with backend APIs to power app functionality
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested mobile code
- Participate in code reviews and sprint planning with the engineering team
- Help test and troubleshoot new releases before they ship
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or a similar mobile framework
- Understanding of REST APIs and mobile app architecture fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
- Prior coursework, personal projects, or internship experience building mobile apps is a plus
