Mo For Congress: Campaign ManagerThe Mo for Congress campaign is looking for a Campaign Manager to join its growing team working to bring change and a new generation of leadership to Virginia's 8th Congressional District.The Campaign Manager coordinates all aspects of the campaign including overseeing the fundraising program and campaign budget, day-to-day operations, management of staff and consultants, political outreach and ongoing coordination with the candidate. The campaign manager must have excellent organizational skills, be level-headed, and have good interpersonal skills.The position is full-time and based in Northern Virginia.Responsibilities:Manage all operations of the campaign, including overseeing a team including staff, consultants, and volunteers.Help the candidate to prioritize fundraising and support the finance consultants to hit fundraising goals.Establish the campaign's day-to-day priorities and create metrics for success and progress to-goal across all departments.In coordination with team members, create and implement plans for fundraising, organizing, earned and paid communication, and political outreach.Manage the campaign's budget and cashflow.Manage the candidate's weekly schedule.Conduct weekly meetings with campaign stakeholders/consultants to report out on benchmarks and strategy.Must be comfortable on the phone and with staffing the candidate at various meetings and events.Drafting and sending press releases, serving as campaign spokesperson as needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum 3 cycles of political campaign experience (with at least 2 cycles of fundraising experience)Experience with fundraising is a requirement and experience managing budgets is a strong plusProven ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines/needsUnderstanding of digital and social media tools used in political campaignsExperience working with a diverse group of individuals, from elected officials to community leaders to volunteersFamiliarity with VAN voter database and NGPExcellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet fundraising, recruitment and voter contact goalsAbility to think strategically and exercise a high level of judgmentAbility to work long and irregular hours, including weekends, evenings, and some holidaysExperience working in Virginia is a plusCompensation:$6,000 - $7,000 per month based on experience$500 monthly health care stipendTo Apply:Email resume, three references (with at least one reference being a candidate you worked for), and cover letter to with subject line "Campaign Manager - (YOUR NAME)".
