Mixer Technician / Batch MakerLocation: Walled Lake, MIPay: $18–$20/hour (Candidates requiring a higher rate may still be considered)Shift: 1st ShiftWe are seeking a dependable Mixer Technician / Batch Maker to join a manufacturing team in Walled Lake. This position is responsible for preparing and mixing chemical solutions according to established work instructions, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and clean mixing equipment.Measure and prepare chemicals/materials according to documented work instructions.Prepare solutions and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications.Collect samples and perform basic quality testing.Troubleshoot mixing and solution-related issues.Document production, process, and quality information.Perform basic preventative maintenance on mixing equipment.Safely handle, document, and dispose of chemical waste.Follow all safety, environmental, housekeeping, and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.QualificationsPrevious batch making, chemical mixing, blending, production, or related manufacturing experience preferred.High school diploma or GED.Comfortable working around chemicals and manufacturing equipment.Ability to follow formulas, written instructions, and safety procedures.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Basic computer skills preferred.Forklift certification is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing production priorities.Schedule: Production generally runs Monday–Thursday, with employees required to be available on Fridays as needed. Depending on production requirements, the schedule will alternate between:10-hour shifts: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM12-hour shifts: 3:00 AM – 3:00 PMCandidates must be comfortable with both schedules based on production needs.
