Mitigation-Contents Project Manager – Houston, TXThe Mitigation-Contents Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Mitigation team including projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards and oversee and coordinate contents restoration projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing crews, timelines, customer communication, and documentation related to personal property affected by water, fire, mold, or other losses. This position will be responsible for profitability, performance, employee retention and customer satisfaction.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeadershipLead Project Managers, Project Coordinator and Project Estimators in day-to-day responsivitiesConduct ongoing training to build capability to enhance culture and operational efficiencyLead P&L efforts to grow organically and increase overall EBITDAUtilization of Procore for project managementManage contents restoration projects, including pack-outs, cleaning, storage, and return of personal propertyCreate project timelines and ensure deadlines are metCommunicate regularly with customers, adjusters, and internal teamsDocument job progress, photos, inventories, and reports in restoration softwareEnsure quality control and customer satisfaction throughout each projectTrack labor hours, materials, and project costsAddress issues or changes in scope quickly and professionallyMaintain safety standards and company proceduresProvide contents manager with daily schedule (upcoming walks, inspections, appointments)Perform job walks/adjuster meetingProduce scope for contents estimates (all initial estimates are to be written and sent to adjuster)Communicate with insurance adjusters, providing required documentation, photos, and inventory lists.Responsible for getting Job started with adjuster and insuredReview contents W.I.P daily to see what jobs are Pending sales and Pending start to see which ones still have a job walk needed and which ones need to get started.Budget ManagementMonitor and manage project budgets, track expenses and ensure adherence to financial goals.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards.Manage Overhead costs in line with company goalsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequirementsProficient in the English language.Bilingual abilities are considered an advantage.Clear criminal background record.Strong customer service skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM databases is advantageous.Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office suite, and Windows operating systems.Education and Work Experience RequirementsAn equivalent combination of the following education and experience would be acceptable for qualifications.
A common method of acquiring the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities is:Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.Proven experience as an Estimator in the disaster relief industry.Physical and Other RequirementsThis is a field position, and working conditions may vary, ranging from extremely hot to cold depending on the climate. The position requires 8-hour days, flexible hours, and occasional extended hours. Daily travel is necessary for customer and vendor visits, and overnight stays may be required on occasion.
