To support a stable work-from-home team, the full-time Missouri Licensed Utilization Review Nurse will evaluate hospital admissions for medical necessity, utilizing clinical and analytical skills while ensuring appropriate utilization of healthcare resources. Key responsibilities Review and interpret diagnostic test results to assess the appropriateness of patients' levels of care Utilize Interqual Criteria to determine the level of care for elective inpatient hospitalizations Educate medical providers on the effective use of healthcare resources to ensure quality patient care Required qualifications Active Missouri or Illinois RN license 2 years of RN experience providing care for hospitalized patients 2 years of Utilization Review experience Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing Must reside within one hour of the BJC Commons in St. Louis, MO
