Missouri Licensed Retirement Specialist

As a fully remote opportunity, the Missouri Licensed Retirement Specialist will manage the administration, testing, and reporting of 401(k) plans while providing client support and ensuring compliance with government filings. Key responsibilities Work with clients to gather necessary information for annual reporting and educate them on 401(k) plan administration Review client-submitted documents for accuracy and completeness, and prepare required government filings, including IRS Form 5500 Utilize administration software to conduct 401(k) testing and reporting, and maintain communication with clients throughout the reporting process Required qualifications 1 to 5 years of experience in back-office financial operations, preferably in retirement-plan administration or related fields Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Direct experience with 401(k) operations, including compliance testing and year-end reporting, is preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or finance, or equivalent work experience, is preferred Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure and IRS/DOL regulations is preferred
