About the Role

NewBridge Partners is seeking an experiencedMission Integration Engineer to improve the planning, coordination, integration, and execution of national-level GEOINT missions, including collection planning and orchestration. This role applies mission engineering, systems engineering, and operational analysis to improve mission effectiveness.

In this mission-facing position, you will collaborate with intelligence professionals, mission planners, collection professionals, systems engineers, technical specialists, and government leadership. You will assess mission architectures, collection strategies, operational workflows, and supporting systems; identify operational and technical gaps; and develop practical recommendations that improve mission performance across the intelligence lifecycle.

This position is well suited for professionals who understand intelligence collection methods and systems, mission operations, and systems integration—and who can translate operational challenges into actionable technical, engineering, analytical, and process improvements.

Strong candidates may come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including mission engineering, systems engineering, ISR operations, collection management, intelligence analysis, operational analysis, requirements engineering, systems integration, or mission integration.

You do not need to have previously held the title “GEOINT Mission Integration Engineer.” However, substantive direct experience supporting GEOINT missions, capabilities, systems, collection activities, or operational workflows is required.

What You Will Do

  • Assess mission architectures, collection strategies, operational workflows, organizational relationships, technical dependencies, and supporting systems.

  • Work with intelligence professionals, mission planners, collection professionals, engineers, analysts, technical specialists, and government leadership to identify mission needs and operational gaps.

  • Translate operational challenges into clear requirements, analytical approaches, process improvements, integration recommendations, and courses of action.

  • Analyze GEOINT collection-planning and orchestration activities and recommend improvements to workflows, coordination, tradecraft, and mission execution.

  • Apply mission-engineering, systems-engineering, and operational-analysis methods to evaluate relationships among mission functions, systems, organizations, processes, and technologies.

  • Develop current-state and future-state workflows, mission threads, concepts of operation, process models, decision frameworks, requirements, and mission documentation.

  • Plan and facilitate technical exchanges, workshops, working groups, and cross-organizational coordination sessions.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, analytical approaches, and operational methods for integration into existing mission environments.

  • Develop assessment methods, prototypes, visualizations, and analytical products using government, commercial, or custom software tools.

  • Prepare executive briefings, decision papers, talking points, and visual presentations for senior government and mission leadership.

  • Define measures of effectiveness and measures of performance to evaluate proposed mission, process, or technology improvements.

  • Support strategic planning, program coordination, and mission initiatives addressing both near-term operational needs and longer-term capability objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI access.

  • Willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph. Candidates who already hold a current CI polygraph are preferred.

  • Five or more years of relevant experience in mission integration, systems engineering, systems integration, operational analysis, intelligence operations, ISR planning, collection management, requirements engineering, capability integration, or a closely related discipline.

  • Substantive direct experience supporting GEOINT missions, capabilities, systems, collection activities, or operational workflows.

  • Practical understanding of intelligence collection methods and systems, mission operations, and systems integration.

  • Ability to analyze complex mission activities involving multiple systems, organizations, stakeholders, processes, and operational dependencies.

  • Experience identifying operational or technical gaps and developing practical recommendations, requirements, workflows, assessments, or courses of action.

  • Experience translating mission and stakeholder needs into actionable technical, engineering, analytical, or process improvements.

  • Experience working across operational, engineering, analytical, technical, and leadership organizations.

  • Experience facilitating technical exchanges, operational working groups, workshops, or other cross-functional collaboration sessions.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex operational and technical subjects to senior audiences.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative, multi-agency environment.

  • Ability to work full-time on-site in a SCIF in Springfield, Virginia.

Direct GEOINT experience is required, but candidates are not expected to come from a single job series, agency, military specialty, or career path. Relevant experience may have been gained through systems engineering, mission engineering, ISR operations, collection management, intelligence analysis, imagery or geospatial operations, technical integration, requirements engineering, targeting support, or military intelligence assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting national-level intelligence, Department of Defense, intelligence-community, or multi‑agency mission environments.

  • Experience with mission engineering, systems engineering, systems integration, operational analysis, requirements engineering, or capability integration.

  • Experience with GEOINT collection planning, collection orchestration, collection strategy, source strategy, or collection management.

  • Understanding of the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination lifecycle.

  • Experience developing concepts of operation, mission threads, workflow models, system or mission requirements, functional decompositions, or other mission documentation.

  • Experience conducting trade studies, analyses of alternatives, courses‑of‑action analysis, or mission‑effectiveness assessments.

  • Experience leading or facilitating Integrated Product Teams, Technical Exchange Meetings, operational working groups, or cross‑functional workshops.

  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering or another structured mission‑analysis approach.
